I am a licensed therapist and the owner of Clarity Christian Counseling, PLLC, which I founded in 2015. I began my clinical training in 2010 at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California where I received my Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.
While I love serving a variety of clients, I am particularly passionate about helping tweens and teens, as well as female entrepreneurs achieve and maintain mental wellness and emotional health.
It is my goal as a therapist to help each person who walks through my door gain clarity and confidence, find peace, regain joy, and feel empowered to face challenges and pursue their life’s purpose. As a Christian therapist, I also love helping people to encounter the unconditional love of God in the midst of their pain and struggle. I understand that many have been wounded by religion and negative experiences with church or Christian legalism. I provide a safe space for those experiencing hurt in this area to share their pain and be able to restore connection with God.
I most frequently work with pre-teens, teens, and adult women, many of whom are struggling with anxiety, hopelessness, stress and overwhelm, unresolved trauma, grief, relationship concerns, and a difficulty believing in their own value and self-worth.
Christian faith is not a requirement to work with me, however, I find that many of my clients value their relationship with God and desire to integrate faith into their therapeutic process, even if they are currently feeling spiritually numb or distant from God.
I help my clients uncover blind spots, identify truth, and develop healthy tools for coping so they can feel confident in their decision-making abilities as they heal from past wounds and negative experiences.
My approach is organic and natural, rather than extremely clinical. I seek to allow you to feel as comfortable and safe as possible while I utilize my clinical knowledge and expertise to offer feedback, increase insight and self-awareness, and equip you with the tools you need to establish breakthrough.
I recently moved to Colorado Springs and am excited to work with clients located in the state of Colorado, while I continue to serve clients in Arizona. Come see me in-person at my new office location in Colorado Springs!

Dr. Julie Edwards is a licensed psychologist in the states of Arizona and Colorado. She has extensive experience working with veterans and their families treating addiction, trauma, personality disorders, substance use, and PTSD. She is skilled in providing psychoeducation and strategies for parents wanting to improve their relationships and effectiveness with their children, and works with couples concerning issues related to communication, addiction, and sexual health and wellness. As a Christian, Julie enjoys incorporating faith and spirituality into the process of therapy at the level that is desired by her clients. Dr. Edwards provides her clients with feedback and direction that helps them gain insight and breakthrough.
